Lisa, I had a similar situation, but it was the kitty liter box that my 3 yr old was fasinated with. One. boys are different from girls, my daughter didn’t want to pee at girl scout camp in the out house. Cant say I blame her, there might be spiders in there.
Two. bleach in a spray bottle, you could dilute the mixture i part bleach to 3 parts water. that will kill any bacteria and will not leave any lingering smell or toxic effects.
Embrace the differences, we can learn so much in schools and research and yet evolution shows us what we fail to see and accept.

I suggest replacing the ductwork. If you use the amount of pet odor cleaner equal to the amount of urine that was down there, you’ll only have doubled the amount of noxious chemicals in your air vent. If it were me, I’d replace the whole air handling system or, failing that, sell the house.
