The video is called The Safe Side and it was created by John Walsh and Julie Clark (of the Baby Einstein fame). Right now The Safe Side Company has two different DVDs available; Stranger Safety and Internet Safety. We ordered the Stranger Safety DVD. You can also get them in video cassette format. <description>Jennifer, I agree with your concern and, unfortunately, not every parent in the country is aware of the threats of abduction as you have described. The Amber Alert Program should be promoted and all of the precautions that you have outlined are as important as the "seat-belt" campaign. If a pregancy is forthcoming, every parent and grandparent should verify that their hospital follows the guidelines for preventing newborn abduction such as happened in a Lubbock, Texas this year. Read CODE PINK! for a view of what can happen in a newborn nursery.
