Confessions of an Organized Homemaker

I recently purchased this book because readers of Creative Home had highly recommended it. I am so glad I did because it is helping me to transform our house.
This book is jam packed with organizing ideas and very motivating. The day after I purchased it, I had EASILY organized two of my kitchen cabinets. These cabinets were ones I had put off for a long time because they looked too hard to organize. They were the type that when you open the doors, stuff would fall out at you. Deniece had changed my thoughts about organizing after just 2 chapters! I read one of her many techniques for organizing an area and thought `Why didn't I think of that; it's so simple'. It took me maybe ten minutes to organize one whole cabinet full of `junk'. The great thing about it is that she lists enough techniques that there's something for everyone. So if the technique that worked for me won't work for you, just use another one.
I am now 3/4 of the way through the book and have my whole kitchen organized - including my refrigerator (this is a HUGE accomplishment for me!). I have also organized my living room and have the kids working on their rooms. It looks a lot less cluttered and am so happy to have found the book! There are many organizing ideas for each room of the house. I highly recommend it to anyone who has trouble in the area of organizing.
