{"id":348,"date":"2006-06-02T11:59:07","date_gmt":"2006-06-02T17:59:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.familyresource.com\/blog\/?p=348"},"modified":"2006-06-02T11:59:07","modified_gmt":"2006-06-02T17:59:07","slug":"holy-lesbian-batman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.familyresource.com\/blog\/2006\/06\/02\/holy-lesbian-batman\/","title":{"rendered":"Holy Lesbian Batman!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I kid you not, DC Comics has ordained Batwoman as their new prime minister for the gay and lesbian community.\u00a0 I heard it on the news yesterday.\u00a0 It is true, <a title=\"lesbian\" href=\"http:\/\/www.npr.org\/templates\/story\/story.php?storyId=5443966\">Batwoman will be coming out of the closet as a lesbian<\/a>.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think we have seen a homosexual superhero since Green Arrow, no?\u00a0<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>This may break the hearts of 12-year-old boys. Or fascinate them. But in any case, Batwoman is coming out of the closet. D.C. Comics says the superhero will return to the comic pages as a lesbian. She has flowing red hair, knee-high boots and a tight black outfit.
