{"id":446,"date":"2006-10-31T06:48:29","date_gmt":"2006-10-31T12:48:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.familyresource.com\/blog\/?p=446"},"modified":"2006-10-31T06:48:29","modified_gmt":"2006-10-31T12:48:29","slug":"god-bless-daylight-savings-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.familyresource.com\/blog\/2006\/10\/31\/god-bless-daylight-savings-time\/","title":{"rendered":"God Bless Daylight Savings Time&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Holy Mother of Poindexter&#8230; It&#8217;s 643am and I have both kids dressed, fed and ready to leave for school.\u00a0 Since we are 45minutes ahead of schedule I figured I would write to praise this lovely time of year when we all are gifted an hour of time.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a lovely little trick we play on our bodies &#8211; we wrangle time, we lasso it, stab it with a steely sword and tell time that it is our bitch.\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 I am feeling like Protagoras was right &#8211;\u00a0 man <em><strong>is<\/strong><\/em> the measure of all things this morning &#8211; strutting around my kitchen all groomed and ready to face the world before the chime of 7am.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;m off to be the time bending consort of my universe.. I know for sure that, at least for the next week, I&#8217;m bound to be on time for my life.
