• Arman Rousta

  Arman Rousta is the original Founder and President of 401kid Inc. and has over eight years of entrepreneurial business experience in technology companies. As Founder & President of 401kid, Arman has spent over four years building a dedicated team, directing extensive industry research, and developing proprietary software for education savings. Currently, he spends a great deal of his time communicating the 401kid vision through a multitude of channels. Under his guidance, the 401kid team conducts daily workshops and educates parents, teachers, schools, and the media on the impact of new tax legislation, such as 529 plans.

  In addition to practical business experience, Arman has spent the past fifteen years mentoring students as a teacher, tutor, coach, and camp counselor. He holds degrees in Political Economics and Child Psychology from Columbia University.

  A nationally recognized parenting expert, Armin Brott is the author of Father for Life, The Expectant Father: Facts, Tips, and Advice for Dads-to-Be; The New Father: A Dad's Guide to the First Year, A Dad's Guide to the Toddler Years, Throwaway Dads, and The Single Father: A Dad's Guide to Parenting without a Partner. • Barbara Freedman-De Vito

  Barbara Freedman-DeVito has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts (with certification as an art teacher), a Masters degree in Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on the study of children's literature, and a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL / TEFL ). She is an experienced storyteller, English teacher, art teacher, and children's librarian. She has been entertaining kids since 1979, creating storytelling programs, puppet shows and theatrical skits for schools, libraries, museums, parks, hospitals, shopping centers, festivals, and private homes. She has also created and conducted writing workshops for children, and workshops for university students, teachers and librarians in the arts of storytelling, puppetry and the creation of hand- made props. In addition, she has created artwork for several institutions and written articles that have been published in various professional journals.
