Efforts made to promote breast-feeding

Gina Goff in The Charlotte Observer reports:

Breast-feeding contributes to a baby’s healthy growth, as well as to psychosocial and intellectual development. It is recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the World Health Organization, the United Nations Children’s Fund, the American Dietetic Association and the International Lactation Association.
