Must-have for your summer road trip: Child-safety seats

According to the SAFE KIDS Larimer County Coalition, motor-vehicle accidents are the No. 1 cause of unintentional injury-related deaths among children younger than 14. However, a few simple steps can ensure the safety of children in the event of an accident: Buckle up, place children in appropriate child-safety seats or booster seats, and properly install the safety seats.
