Scientists raise health fears over sun cream
Swiss Info reports:
The research, which was carried out by two teams at the University of Zurich, found that some chemical UV filters were biodegradable and soluble in fats – and therefore could accumulate in the body.
“Due to their chemical structure, they are suspected of behaving like natural sexual hormones and in this way of having a negative influence on human and animal reproduction,â€? said the Swiss National Science Foundation in a statement on Tuesday.
